Briquetting Presses

ArnoBrik series briquetting presses are suitable for pressing and/or briquetting of all kinds of swarf resulting from machining of steel, cast iron, stainless steel, aluminium, magnesium, brass, copper, bronze, titanium, a.s.o. Also special alloys in powder form, slag compounds, battery waste and grinding sludge from a wide variety of materials can be processed, as well as tyre wires and mill scale.

Compacted briquettes can be smelted more easily and safely, compared to loose swarf.
Briquetting of grinding slurry allows the recovered fluids to be recovered ecologically.

The Presses are available with three different filling variants, to suit the material free flow properties. An inclined feeder or a two-step feeder allow to process both grinding slurry and drilling swarf.

The solid welded design with two or three columns makes the machines suitable for heavy continuous operation.

Each machine can be operated manually or automatically. All process sequences are visualized on a graphic operator panel and can easily be integrated into fully automated production lines. Remote maintenance and system adjustments can, of course, also be carried out.

Material-specific feed

Different feed variants can be fitted to best match each specific input material

Moving tool carriage

Enormous wear reduction in the pressing box: moving tool carriage balances relative motion during compression stage

Filling valve at the pressing cylinder

5M presses set the standard: more than 30% of the drive power can be saved due to the innovative filling valve technology

3-columns technology for heavy-duty

No other construction principle diverts pressing forces as effectively as the 3-columns technology. Columns fitted with patented clamping nuts process millions of compacting cycles at full load.

Hydraulic tank

Longer pump life due to filtered and cooled oil in the two-chamber tank system.

PZT Pump activation technology

The oil flow technology regulates the required quantity of hydraulic oil per cylinder, thereby minimising the necessary drive energy of the press.

High-density briquettes

Excellent transport and melting characteristics due to high briquette compaction.

Press tools know-how

Different tool diameters guarantee optimised briquette quality at best possible performance. Tools from different materials for optimised tool life.
